MONTREAL, QUEBEC, June 24, 2003 - New clinical findings
about Levitra (vardenafil HCI) presented at the Canadian Urological
Association (CUA) meeting in Montreal, June 22 to 25, show
that men with erectile dysfunction taking the medication reported
significantly improved satisfaction with erection hardness,
orgasmic function and overall sexual performance. Additional
data demonstrate the long-term safety (including cardiovascular
safety) and efficacy of Levitra, show sexual response as early
as 16 minutes, and indicate that the medication remains largely
unaffected by food and alcohol.
Paris, France, 30 June 2003 New findings on
the long-term benefits of Levitra showed that men with erectile
dysfunction (ED) and taking Levitra reported clinically significant
and sustained improvement in erectile function (EF) over a
two-year period. Levitra was also shown to be a reliable and
fast-acting agent for the treatment of ED in patients participating
in clinical trials. Results from the new studies were presented
at the 2nd International Consultation on Erectile and Sexual
Dysfunctions, Paris, France, a meeting supported by the World
Health Organisation.
A total of 755 men with erectile dysfunction completed a one-year
treatment period with Levitra. Of those, 566 men agreed to
continue receiving Levitra 10 mg or 20 mg in a double-blind
study for an additional year. Of the 479 men who completed
the study, two-year results showed:
- Nine in ten men taking Levitra reported improved erections
throughout the study period (92% of men taking Levitra 20
mg and 90% of men taking Levitra 10 mg)
- Not only did Levitra significantly improve mens
erectile function, but study participants were reportedly
five times more likely, on average, to maintain their erections
through completion of sexual intercourse (89% vs. 17% at
baseline for men taking Levitra 20 mg and 87% vs. 16% at
baseline for men taking Levitra 10 mg)
Results of other recent Levitra vs. Viagra studies
- A study of 150 patients in Germany showed that more patients
preferred Levitra over Viagra
- Another study done in Cologne, Germany showed that 43%
of men preferred Levitra, 40% Cialis (the newest ED drug
on the market), and 17% Viagra
The 411 on Canadian pharmacies (Online and Mail Order)
For those living in the United States, purchasing your prescription
medications online via a Canadian or mail order pharmacy is
probably one of the best financial decisions that you could
ever make. It is quite possible for you to save as much as
80% by buying from across the border, and obviously this depends
on the specific prescription medication that you are seeking
to purchase. So why are prices so much cheaper in Canada?
Well, the Canadian Government maintains strict control over
the prices of prescription drugs, and limits the prices that
companies in the pharmaceutical industry can charge. This
allows affordable prescription drug access for the entire
population, and now also for a lot of Americans who fill their
prescriptions cross-border. Many save hundreds, sometimes
thousands of dollars per month.
Finally, the key to making your fulfilment of an online or
mailorder Canadian prescription a successful one, is to ensure
that you purchase from a registered and licensed online pharmacy.
There are many sites offering Levitra and other prescription
medication online, so do your investigating to ensure that
you don't get entangled with illegal operators.
